The back cover reads: "You Can't Tell A Backwoods
Girl How To LOVE...
There was LORA, beautiful, vibrant and desireable--but trash. 'Backwoods
trash,' they called her.
There was ROGER, handsome, smooth and smart enough to get what he wanted.
And CLIFF, rugged and plain, hardfisted and softspoken. He was 'backwoods'
and proud of it.

The Theatre Was Her Obsession...
'Honey,' he said softly, then he embraced her tenderly.
But it wasn't tenderness she wanted, not on this night. She wanted
him to be rough with her, push her--hurt her.
She murmured into his ear, bit it lightly, felt his hands at her clothes.
Even in the fervor of passion, he was sweet, so sweet...and he could do
so much for her."
Once I saw this "2 for 1" paperback, I had
to have it. Paperback sleaze is good, but two sleaze stories under the
same cover is the stuff dreams are made of. Unlike the famous Ace Double
Novel Books, no flipping around necessary. (Maybe it says something about
the nature of sleaze readers and their ability or lack of ability to turn
a book right-side up.)
The two stories in this book contrast one
another nicely. One about a would-be Broadway starlet who chases a big
producer to a resort town in order to seduce him and get the big part.
The other is about a river woman who tires to make something of herself
by building her own fishing resort only to have to the town's proper folk
hold her back. So, we have a bit of big city sleaze and a bit of back country
sleaze. All in all, a perfect combination.
